A lamp surprise
Sometimes, when I look at something I am not sure what my eyes see. The object is so unexpected that my brain needs some time to transform the data and understand the reality. I have found the examples of lamps which can not only confuse senses but are carefully designed as well. Hope you would like them as much as I do.

Scheisse by Hans Bleken Rud for Northern Lighting is a large pendant lamp, which creates a distinct shadow and sculpture in its environment.
Dog Lamp by Chaiyut Plypetch for Propaganda is made of plastic (body) and metal (head). The head can be adjusted up and down. Dog Lamp was awarded with Good Design 2007 Award.
Mr. P One Man Shy Lamp is another nice lamp by Chaiyut Plypetch for Propaganda. An undressed plastic gentleman in one of five colours (white, blue, pink, green, red) with a lampshade on his head, that can be on, off or angle. And yes, the on/off switch is exactly where you think it is ... to turn on the Mr P Lamp you will have to flick his willy. It might seem a bit confusing to turn on your lamp this way but it's actually quite convenient and practical. Although the switch may seem small, you won't have to fumble around in the dark to find it – it's big enough :-)
