Chairs. Praise the Technology!

Random8 chair by David Lesort and Arnaud Giroud of Pitaya Design is shaped like a brilliant cut diamond. It’s transparent so the light passes it through. It shines in every color of the rainbow and changes its colors depending on the ambient light and on the viewing angle. The chair creates its own lighting effects thanks to the dichroic treatment of the Plexiglas. It also reflects colourful shapes on the surrounding walls and floor, thanks to the reflecting properties of the material.

Chairs. The oddest.

Spun chair by Thomas Heatherwick for Magis is a rotating chair  which resembles a spinning top.  When lent on its side it forms a comfortable and functional chair that the sitter can rock from side to side in, or spin round in a complete circle. It is made of rotational moulded polyethylene and can be used outdoors and eventually recycled.

Lets start with Ovetto; egg-shaped container for the separation of the waste designed by Gianluca Soldi for Habitare Art Design.

It is a great example of modern design, educational approach and practical result. It is divided into three compartment matched with different colours doors and openings, so that even a child could use it properly.

Interior design from outer space. Accessories

There are also many accessories for pets and plants, to the kitchen, bathroom and garden inspired by space creatures and objects.

People who believe in aliens are mostly fascinated but also afraid of them. The home products you would find below do not reflect or cause any fear. They are all smart, remarkable and sometimes funny. Does it mean their designers don't believe in space creatures?
