Collectible dolls. Dolls from the catwalk.

Separate group of dolls I would like to introduce is fashion dolls. These dolls are often fully articulated and can also be customized. What sets them apart from other collectible dolls on the market, is their purpose. They are to present fashion trends and their outfits are very often created by fashion designers.

Collectible dolls. Show me your doll...

I am not one of the dolls collectors. However, I can truly understand people who collect them. The dolls are beautiful, top quality handcrafted, they stimulate the imagination and develop creativity.

In the next few articles you will find the wide range of collectible dolls: fashion dolls, dolls inspired by films or history, dolls with identity and those you can customize from toe nail to hair.

Mini houses. Eastern and western approach.

PACO designed by Japanese architect and designer Jo Nagasaka is a conceptual model to imagine a new life style. It is a box of 3m x 3m x 3m cube. And the roof open. It has the minimum equipments to live in spite of all its size. It includes kitchen, toilet and shower function … and of course a hammock near PACO’s opening, to give its user a pleasurable feeling as the wind flows exquisitely through the gap.

Mini houses. Scandinavian style.

One of the leading trend forecaster said that the future belongs to the mini modular houses. Reasons? Overpopulation, lack of living space, growing land prices all over the world. This trend appeared few years ago, it seems well today and will probably get even better in the next years. It is consistent with other continuing trends: superfluity limitation and multifunctionality.
