What comes first into your mind when you think “inflatable”? Summer, mattress, sun, ball, breasts, softness? Only pleasant and relaxing things. What about “inflatable furniture”?

During the last few years some designers and furniture producers made the attempts to convince us that inflatable furniture doesn't have to be cheap, tacky or impractical. That they are not condemned to be swimming pool accessories. And some of them succeeded. Starting with Via Lattea collection by Mario Bellini for Meritalia, through  Blow Sofa and Armchair by Malafor, ending with Blofield Air Design and their Chesterfield collection (to mention only few of them). They not only proved that air furniture can be aesthetic and original but also functional (comfortable, easy to inflate, deflate and store) and eco friendly due to the slashed carbon footpint (as they are light and easy to ship).

Now, I can add Sylwia Kaden and her Inflatable to this list.

I admire designers who create things for common people, like me. Artists who make extraordinary an exclusive pieces are famous and appreciated. And many of them deserve it. Their works sometimes touch, sometimes inspire, sometimes amaze us. However, how many of you can afford a chandelier for 88 thousands Euro? How many of you is able to touch it or even see it with your own eyes? Few per cent of the population, I guess.

And how many of you can afford a lamp for 75 Euro, which not only looks nice but is very functional as well, because you can adjust its height? Much more, I suppose.

At this time of the year it is even more appropriate and needed. Of course you don't have to use the bird feeders of this particular brand. There are many beautiful and clever products for birds at the market. And you can always make your own DIY bird feeder, if you wish.

Although the autumn is quite favourable this year (no rain, no mud), it is still autumn – cold and gloomy. Apart form using light and colour therapy, I also drink to buoy up. Don't worry, it's not my coming out. I drink hot tea. Though some of you (or even majority) may find it heresy, I don't like coffee. It is not even the taste, which I think I could finally accept. It's the additive properties. I'm not going to let the cup of drink decide about my mood or energy. And it is me who decides how to train my free will. Either tea or coffee requires the appropriate arrangement. I mean mug. Fine mug reinforces the taste of the drink and increases the pleasure (sounds a bit like an erotic gadget advert – sorry).
